This elegant Song brocade yarn-dyed fabric features delicate butterflies drifting among graceful flowering branches and feathery foliage.

The fabric is reversible, with both sides offering a usable decorative surface. One side features a deep navy-blue background with vivid turquoise foliage and warm butterfly details, while the reverse presents a lighter ivory-toned version of the same woven pattern. This two-sided construction gives you more flexibility when designing garments, accessories, or decorative projects.

Extra care should be taken when laundering the fabric to prevent snagging and to protect the long floating threads that form the design and give brocade its lovely finish from breakage.

Washing Instructions

  • Hand Wash Recommended: We strongly recommend hand washing most of our fabrics in cold or lukewarm water to maintain their original luster and structure.
  • Machine Wash with Care: If you prefer machine washing, please place the fabric in a laundry mesh bag to prevent snagging. Use a mild, neutral detergent and select the Gentle/Delicate cycle.
  • Special Fabrics Warning: Please note that certain specialized fabrics (such as those with metallic threads or electronic components) are not washable and should be spot cleaned or professionally dry cleaned only.
  • Drying & Ironing: Do not wring or twist. Lay flat to dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight. If ironing is needed, use a low heat setting and iron on the reverse side.
